Status and releases

GSP and VisPy2 are experimental research prototypes at version 0.1.0. They are not published on PyPI and their APIs may change before a stable release.

Current baseline

• Development stages S001–S050 are complete.
• Matplotlib is the reference backend.
• Datoviz v0.4 support is capability-gated and optional.
• Datoviz Texture2D renderer promotion is deferred; protocol validation and the VisPy2 producer do not imply backend support.
• The conformance baseline lives under fixtures/conformance/.
